new marilyn photos!
photos taken 9 months before her death were recently unearthed by the photographer, len steckler, now in his 80s. taken in 1961, 9 months before her death, marilyn, 35, is pictured with poet carl sandburg, 83, wearing some awesome plastic cat-eye glasses.
after the shoot, they all drank whisky.
how gorgeous was she? so fabulous. such a tragedy that she died so young! i wish i'd been around then... *le sigh*
